There was a blacksmith killed in a dragon attack in one town and he was gone for good, no replacement. In another the blacksmith was killed during a jail escape but his apprentice took over.
Do you mean you don't want to use any Enchanted Weapons/Armour or do you just mean you don't want to use the Enchanting skill?
Either way, I would say you definitely want Smithing to boost your weapons and armour non-magically. Thematically a warrior should know how to repair and maintain...
For light armour I quite like the Elven Armour. I like the look of Dragonscale bar the helmet. In fact quite a lot of the helmets seem to spoil the look of the armour. As said above, Dragon Priest masks look good as they come with the hoods.
I kept Lydia in a Steel Helmet over Full Plate as I...
I also love Archery but if I was going to do it again, I wouldn't bother with time slow or bullseye. Time slow just makes me think the game is glitching and the way paralyse works I've seen people fall over before my arrows hit them (which does no damage) and I've seen my arrows go through them...
The time she got stuck in Blackreach, none of those things worked. In the end it took walking into her continuously until she took a few steps back on her own. Those things may work on this occasion, but if not, try what I did.
The same thing happened to me in Blackreach. After trying numerous things I had to leave her there. Eventually I went back and found her still where I left her. In the end I just kept bumping into her until she took a few steps away from me. I repeated this until she got off the "sticky" bit...
All the quest items I have glued to my body because the quests that come with them have broken.
All the unfinished quests in my Journal that I can never finish because they have broken.
I married Lydia after finally getting her back after losing her in Blackreach for weeks. I quite liked Ysolda but apparently the sight of me makes her blood boil...
It's tough cause they all kind of work together. A Fortify Smithing potion helps improve the Armour and Weapons while a Fortify Enchanting potion helps improve the Enchantments I put on them. Alchemy can be quite easy for money early on as ingredients are everywhere. Potions of water-breathing...
I used to play about with some of the names on the skill boosting items but it made them a pain to find when it went to putting them on so now I have the Alchemist's Master Bandana, Gloves, Necklace and Ring, followed by Blacksmith's Master Gloves, Necklace, Ring and Tunic. Keeps them all...
As an Elf they would hate me as High King. Doubt it would stop me adventuring though as even though I'm head of the Companions they still send me on off on minor quests to kill bears and beat people up and even though I'm Arch Mage of the Mage's College I'm still expected to look around for...
Do you want him to look like the movies or the books or is it more of the skills you are thinking about?
Although he isn't a thief, elves are generally known for moving quietly so Sneak. This will help Bow damage too.
Leather armour or Elven would look good, go for a hood over a helmet to...
