" Hey we may be asshole, but these assholes are even bigger assholes!"

Clever.

You know I was worried it would go over your head :p I am happy you caught it.

But in all serious with any group you will have assholes. (Except the Dark Brotherhood who seems to have the most friendly people.)

Oh well. And the fact you have to get so agressive over defending your group implies that somewhere you dont actually believe in your group and you have to basically lie to yourself. :D

And just to retort back at DM.

If Riften's Jarl has doubts about Ulfric and yet still support him, doesn't that mean that apparently Ulfric the racist coward hitler-nazi is considered a lesser evil?

Well, considering I've never called him that. He must be to you, if you're bringing it up. Though Ralof does mention there are things about Ulfric he dislikes.

The Jarl supports the cause, not the man.

Even I was contemplating joining up with Ulfric once upon a time...

Although this is true and I've defended the Thalmor before (actually more of def the Dominion), still, I can't bring myself to lift a sword against Jarl Balgruuf.

"I cain't do it boss, I simply cain't..."

The World will just have to end :) Or be born again, thru fiery vindication.

I like that pic dm. That's prob what's waiting for the Thalmor down on the border with Cyrodil...

One good thing, the Empire has the loyalty of the Orcs, now they're a force to be reckoned with. Give me an Orc Legion or two and I'd conquer half of Tamriel.

You know, I'm more than a little surprised on how Solstheim didn't come with spear type weapons. Least none that I could find. Spears were pretty useful in the original Solstheim and I'm a little disappointed they didn't bring them back.

Yeah that's right. They do don't they? Cause the Empire not only stepped in and saved them, Empire also gave them a new Province. Why any Orc would side with Ulfric is beyond me.

They did, but they're useless. The Rieklings (sp?) use them, they're small and are used as arrows by the player.

The Seventh and Fifteenth Legions put themselves into harms way, and many Orcs became Imperial soldiers because of their actions. Many more Orcs would of died when their Kingdom was attacked by Hammerfell and High Rock, but two Legions stepped into harms way to assist the Orcs. Escorting many refugees to safety.

I make it a habit to never classify any weapon(s) as being "useless". Spears can be extremely useful given the right situation. Not even to mention how they were put to good use throughout man's history. ie Greek Hoplite / Sumerian Phalanx.

A spear might be very useful in Skyrim to "throttle" a Frost Troll back, help control the situation. Swords and 2H are fine but neither have that great of a reach... save for Claymores.

After testing the ones out in Skyrim. They're useless, they're fired from your bow and don't travel far, do little damage also.

Oh I see. No, no I mean actual errmmm... "Macedonian Sarissa" like spears.

Just imagine if we had something like that and they could be enchanted with fire and paralysis.

Would make for a most effective weapon... esp if they were 1H as well as 2H. You know... so you could hold a shield with it.

Not sure if implying I'm aggressive about defending stormcloaks

While I would like to think the CW War will be settled in TES VI, there remains the possibility that it may never be resolved.

I thought for absolute certain we would be delivered a Final DLC that had Ulfric has High King for cloaks AND Empire makes some kind of move and restores Talos Worship.

That's all Beth had to do and the Empire would have definitively won this argument. Alas... now each side is locked in gridlock. Although admittedly, the Empire has a greater edge in the argument, along as it's an argument based on reason.

Sufficed to say, many a Stormcloak forum will immed shoot down any talk of this in the name of Freedom and the Nords getting what they deserve thru Ulfric.

Bethesda already confirmed they are not going to release any more dlc's. I think we will learn how it ends in the next TES game. Bethesda never really leaves something unsolved. Maybe they do not mention it in the game, but in one of the books. Maybe they just add a new volume to "A Brief History Of The Empire".
