Spoiler Is it just me, or did (spoiler removed) feel like the first real boss battle in Skyrim?

True, he had me running around like a crazed ferret - but it was still more satisfying than the 10 seconds it took to kill Alduin :)

Spoiler Is it just me, or did (spoiler removed) feel like the first real boss battle in Skyrim?

I thought exactly the same thing, the battle against the Arch-Curate felt like THE boss fight of Skyrim, making Dawnguard somewhat more satisfying than the main quest. Even the fight against Harkon was more satisfying than the fight against Alduin.

    Serana is such a "Wahmpire"

I like her only because she's the most fully realised character in the game (and she's pretty powerful as a follower), but she does complain a lot, usually to my back ;) And she's always accusing me of nagging too: "I'm not talking about this anymore"... to the point where she won't even...

    Skyrim needs to add ____.

    That's too bad.

NPC's Attacking each other for dropped items

That's pretty funny actually. That Vulwulf Snow-Shod is just way too aggro, he's always killing Indarys in my game when I drop things in the Bee and Barb too.

    Skyrim needs to add ____.

To be honest i don't know how Marcurio (hubby, btw, not wife) manages to cook all that while fighting dragons and draugr with me, since he's been travelling with me since we married... He must have some esoteric cooking magic skills.

    Skyrim needs to add ____.

This is what I get: Morndas: Chicken and potato pie Tirdas: Steak and kidney pie Middas: Steak and ale pie Turdas: Shepherd's pie Fredas: Vegetable pie Loredas: Fish and seafood pie, cooked with a white wine cream sauce (because it's Loredas!) Sundas: Cherry pie (because it's Sundas!)

    Skyrim needs to add ____.

Skyrim needs to add better dialogue options and interactions with your spouse. Your spouse is currently little more than someone who gives you a daily allowance and a home-cooked meal.

    Attention Hearthfire players!

Thanks. That's great, I like the area at Hjaalmarch too, so I build there first. Plus it's convenient to get to Solitude for supplies :)

    Attention Hearthfire players!

Excellent info, thanks. Which housecarl is assigned to which hold? I will probably only build one house and I like the idea of a magic-using housecarl. I've only become thane in Solitude since Hearthfire and it's still Jordis. I'm thinking of putting any adopted kids in Proudspire- the...

You know what would be great?

I can see how friendly fire can be frustrating at times, however... I have to say that I rather like being forced to be careful, it forces you to be more aware of your follower and your surroundings and makes the fighting seem more realistic (insofar as any fight involving fireballs and...

Hi I'm Raijin, and I'm a mageolic. ADDICTION!

*Raises hand* Mageholic here, too, a Breton mageholic specifically. (Not a pure mage though, I have a fear of running out of magicka and being rendered powerless/defenseless). I'm addicted to the colourful drama and esoteric weirdness that is such a big part of being a mage.

Who do you think is the nicest npc

Totally forgot Rune (I kinda discounted the TG members automatically, silly me, so discriminatory :P). Yes, he is nice, it shows also when you eavesdrop on his conversations with the other TG members. He gives the impression of being an "honourable thief".

Who do you think is the nicest npc

The elderly lady alchemists are very nice and polite, Hafjorg in Riften too. These NPCs always cheer me up with their pleasantness : Amren, Madesi, Roggi Knot-Beard, Brand-Shei, Ulundil (Windhelm stables), Kraldar. I haven't met Scouts-Many-Marshes but a lot of the argonians in Skyrim do seem...

    Enchanting`

I agree, the fortify magic skill enchantment gives a better result if you focus on one school, especially at higher levels. I'm transitioning into other schools atm so I need the flexibility of plain fortify magicka. I like magic resistance too, but I figured with Breton blood 25% + lord stone...

    Skyrim guilt trip...

Yeah the Daedric quests are designed to make you feel guilty. Molag Bal's quest was the only "evil" quest I did and I managed to justify it by reminding myself that you are leading a priest of Boethiah (so he's obviously familiar with the games the Daedra play) to his death. But I still feel...

    Hot Men of Skyrim

I'd like the RL version please, thanks kindly :)

    Marriage.

Torvar (and Cosnach too iirc, who shares the same voice actor) has my favourite marriage line: "You're wearing Mara's amulet? You? I'd marry you. I'd marry you twice." My breton female mage married Marcurio, they travel around Skyrim blazing lightning and fire at their enemies. It's fun.

    Worst Jarl

Jarl Laila is pretty useless, but I think Maven as Jarl is worse. Has anyone done the skooma quest with Maven as Jarl? She pretty much hints that her corruption has no limits.
