How do you backstab a Dragon?
I think it was just another reference. Skulli can usually give great reference.
Not in my experience. Many weapons have soul trap on them already (I keep one with me at all times, just in case) and it can be disenchanted from one of them if you don't have the level or magika to use the spell. The spell itself simply transfers the soul (upon death) in to a soul gem. The advantage to the spell is that it gives you 60 seconds to finish them off while most weapons only have between 5 and 15 seconds on them. I have found that, for armor or non-weapon items, the type and size of the soul gem will affect the power of the item's enchantment, but with weapons it really only affects the number of charges available before charging up is needed (and, of course, when charging up, the smaller the soul gem, the less it charges). As I said, I am not the expert, but, as I don't use mods or tricks when playing, I can only advise as to what I do with a straightforward first game.does the soul trap enchant make a weapon stronger?
Then you did it right! Mine does the same thing. Of course, I can also kill a giant from 100 paces with my bow. Don't forget to scavenge his gold (the giant that is), he's got lots. Of course where he gets it, I'll never know. Also, why are there no female giants? Are they like the Ents and lost 'em?my daedra sword seems really powerful since i put this firery soul trap on it. i can kill a giant in 3 hits and a mammoth in 3 or 4 so i thought id ask.
You can put it on the wheel as much as you want
my smithing is at 100 so i won't improve any furtherAs long as your effective skill level is enough higher than the last time, it will upgrade some more. I think it's about every 17 levels if you have the perk.
my smithing is at 100 so i won't improve any further
It's up to you. Why are you thinking of switching? Is it doing to much damage for your purposes or too little?should i just use my daedra sword with fiery soul trap or get another sword and use the enchanted one as a back up?
That was a bug. It's been fixed by update 1.9 and now works as described so it no longer gives a 15% bonus.Ancient knowledge quest perk will give you 15%.
The Notched Pickaxe gives the enchanting effect Smithing Expertise which is bugged. Instead of enhancing Smithing Skill it heals damage to Smithing Skill.Notched pickaxe (holding in hand while smithing) will give you a percentage (I forgot the percentage 5, 10 or 15%)
