Mine would definitely have to be the first time I loaded up the game and saw the stunning graphics :O Back in the days of Morrowind and even Oblivion I was more of a casual gamer and didnt really play these games for too long, but I see myself as more of a hardcore gamer now and have spent hours upon hours just roaming around the world of Skyrim.
If I had to choose a particular moment that really my jaw drop, it would have to be the first time I absorbed a dragon soul, it was just too epic! I'm only level 13, so I haven't had much experience, but that has to be one of the best moments of my entire gaming life!

I have two: One was when I somehow managed to climb up to the peak of the Throat of the World and looked around at the amazing view. The other was seeing those stunning northern lights in the sky :).

When I assassinated someone who was asleep in their bed, they vanished !
I looked around and really could not see them anywhere. Just about to leave in a huff, when I noticed the body under the bed. I had obviously hit them a little harder than necessary.

I had several WOW moments along the way and several in the Main Quest line. Being in Sovngarde was the best moment, initially teleporting in and while approaching the hall, a relatively low level with little experience made the battle within especially epic.

haha, I've done that too. sometimes hate it though because I'll knock the bad guy so far away. I've blown guys off of bridges shooting them with a bow. LOL

I was going up to one of those dragon lairs with the word wall and there were two dragons flying around. One of them attacked me and the other dragon attacked the one that was attacking me. The second dragon killed the first one and then turned its attention on me. I killed it and ended up with a BOGO deal on dragon souls.

Yesterday I saw a lone mammoth, and after getting my ass thrown into the air by giants, I watched it for a small while, and when I was convinced it was alone, I took the sucker down. Feeling pumped, I went and found a single mammoth and single giant, feeling like I could perhaps take the giant on, knowing I could handle a mammoth.

Got a few arrows in the mammoth and giant before I turned and sprinted towards some rocks to keep the mammoth away while I took out the giant. Did this again, and I ended up in an unmarked ruined monument, and I tried to jump atop some of the rocks. Instead, I got glitched between two rocks and on one rock, so I couldn't jump, and I was somewhat stuck.

Well, the mammoth couldn't touch me at all, and the giant could only hit me with his unarmed arm, so he wasn't dealing much damage. Pulled my fine elven bow out again and shot them both down. Whoo hoo! ... crap, I'm stuck!

One Shout and some luck later, I get out of that glitched spot and get all the loot I can off my prizes. 'Cept I lost my horse.

Can't believe nobody mentioned Blackreach. The first time I went down there, my jaw literally dropped!
After that I spent a good 2-3 hours just going around the place exploring and enjoying the view.
Even though the game has had plenty of "Wow!" moments, this was the first and so far only time I was really amazed.
same reaction for me.. i could not wait for my hubby to get home so i could show him its amazing down there and beautiful!
