And that's why Sam Guevenne now spends all day and night standing on the steps of the Bannered Mare

Please, please, please - cast Frenzy on a passerby to see if they can be compelled to attack dear old Sam. Report back :)

First of all I cast Furying on Nazeem while unseen, and the entire market killed him with Sam's help. Sam a lightening spell and summoned a Dremora Lord. When Nazeem was dead, he then decided for some reason to go and stand in the space between Belethor's shop and Arcadia's Cauldron behind the guard.

I frenzied Ysolda next with a similar result, except I was noticed and had to Thane my way out of it and Ysolda didn't die, being essential. When I'd finished with the guard I couldn't find Sam for a while, but eventually thought to check the same spot between the shops. Him and his Dremora were slowly walking there.

Then I reloaded to the save before Ysolda and ran around brazenly frenzying everyone in sight. A huge brawl broke out in the market and do you know what Sam did this time? He ran away. I was chasing him along the wall with an angry guard chasing after me with his sword.

Reloaded right back to the beginning then ran around brazenly furying everyone in sight. There was more Sam lightening and dremora lord, and some pissed off guards. At one point in the chaos I got too close to Sam and he tried to make me take a second drink. I tabbed out, then wondered what would happened if I hadn't have. After I was done reminding the guards I was Thane I spent two minutes searching the area for Sam, eventually finding him next to the Drunken Huntsman of all places.

So I furyed some random passers by, caused a great little melee, ran over to Sam (who had gone back to between the shops) and went through the whole conversation with the second drink, while all the guards in Whiterun were after me. I managed to start dying right as he was saying: "Hey, you don't look so good" and got to watch myself flailing and dying in Markarth while Senna was yelling that it was time to wake up, you drunken blasphemer!

I really need something that frenzies guards. Excuse me, I need to go find some stronger illusion spells and do some power levelling. I will report back.

After getting some illusion perks and a stronger spell to enrage guards, I tried again. By the time the market place was littered with the corpses of Nazeem, Anoriath, Carlotta, Amren, Lilith Maiden-Loom, Brill, Jon Battleborn, and about six guards, Sam realised I was a threat and decided I needed to die. He wouldn't talk to me about a second drink.

So it turned into me running around being chased by Olava the Essential Feeble, Commander Essential Caius, Olfrid Essential-Battleborn and Sam's Dremora Lord while Sam threw lightening at me whenever I got too close. Fralia Essential Grey-Mane sort of wondered aimlessly around saying how terrible it was. At one point I ran around Arcadia's shop and found Essential Ysolda and the invulnerable trio of Lars, Braith and Mila hiding there. Me and my pursers ended up chasing them right around back to the corpse littered marketplace, which really added to the chaos of the place for a while.

I figured I may as well do this properly seeing as I'd gone this far, so I ran up to the Wind District with everyone chasing me and a few frenzies later got Olfina Grey-Mane, Heimskr and Breniun killed, then to the Companions backyard where I got Torvar and Athis killed and added Essential Farkas and Eoralnd Essential Grey-Mane added to my pursuers. When I ran back to the market I found Fralia and Ysolda cowering while having a placid conversation about selling Eorland's stuff to the Khajiit caravans.

I think I might stop there. I'll never be able to top that.

You could try it in Solitude. Has a larger population. :D

I learned from last night that if you leave the armor on the draugr, it helps you not cook all the moisture out.
That's a usually a real problem with draugr, you know... with them being desiccated corpses and all.

A dry rub works pretty well with them too.
Of course, that's to be expected with draugr, you know... with them being dessicated corpses and all.

But without a Daedric Lord hanging around, it would be much less fun :)

I was interested in seeing if Sanguine could be baited into open combat, and I'm thrilled with Wildrose's outcome. I wouldn't have guessed that he would jump straight to calling up a dremora lord, but I guess I should have. The whole experience sounds like it was a laugh riot!

I promise this will be the last time I spam this thread with the tale of my quest to piss of a Daedric Lord by killing all of Whiterun possible, but I did want to share my favourite screenshot from these adventure in reloading.

I know I've seen someone post about this exact same glitch before:

I entered Dragonsreach to collect a bounty from Avenicci. However, once I'd climbed the wooden stairs, Irileth suddenly said "What was that?", and turned hostile, along with Jarl Balgruuf, Avenicci, Hrongar and probably Farengar (didn't see F.). The guards just did the "Get 'em! Kill 'em!" routine - while Lydia (whom I still haven't spoken to so she hasn't moved to Breezehome) leapt to my defense.

I didn't stay and watch, but got out of there as quickly as I could... fortunately no one followed me out.

And no, I do not have a bounty in Whiterun (or anywhere else, for that matter). Never have.

Edit: Passed through Riverwood only to get Gerdur, Alvor and Sigrid after me. No one else was hostile (didn't check in the inn, though... Delphine probably would've attacked), and I still have never done anything to anyone in Whiterun. Just gonna avoid that Hold for now...

Inspired by my fury adventures, I decided to cast Fury on the chicken in Winterhold. I watched it running up to me and trying to untie my shoelaces while laughing for a few seconds, then heard something behind me and turned to see a guard running over with his battle axe raised.

Naturally, all I can think of is Riverwood's chicken and the strange hold it has on the hearts of everyone there. Believing my fate to be sealed, I simply watched the axe as it swung downwards...right past me and onto the chicken.

While I was still getting my head around the idea that I was going to survive this encounter, I was arrested, ultimately becoming 25 gold poorer.

I love casting fury on chickens, it's much fun watching it try to peck people to death.
I was playing last night when a vampire and two death hounds attacked at Kynesgrove. Everyone attacked and I stood back, that's when I see a resurrected chicken. The vampire raised the town chicken to help in the fight.

Flying lawnmowers are cool.
I was attacking an Icewolf on the way to winterhold. For some strange reason my 3rd hit on that wolf was really special, so special that it flung the Icewolf into the horizon at an extremely fast speed, never to be seen again.

I had another LOL moment when i went to Riverwood with Esbern. It glitched when Delphine and everyone in the bar started to attack me. I exited the door just as I died. It was a very funny view seeing my lifeless body fly from the door and into the river.

Lol ... that reminds me of fighting Skeevers: since the disgusting little things like to leap toward you when they attack, it's always satisfying when you catch one in mid-leap with the swing of your melee weapon. They tend to just go sailing up and over your shoulder, landing a few yards behind you in a crumpled heap. It's even better when you are wielding a flaming weapon...

Beautiful, really, isn't it?

Falkreath Guards completed a bounty quest for me... in Embershard. After I'd killed the first two bandits in the mine, I got the "Completed" message.
Lowered the drawbridge, killed the bandit guarding the treasure room, and ran into four Falkreath Guards. o_O

One of them complained about not having enough bandit raids, so I concluded he and his colleagues had decided to arrange some action for themselves. :D

Bad to the Dragonbone.
Not a major WTF but I found it noteworthy enough to mention. I decided to start a new character and play as a level 1. I've been through Whiterun a few times and just noticed Heimskr isn't preaching. He's just standing there. One can only hope this glitch persists for the life of this character, though I do enjoy casting Fury on him and watching the town tear him to pieces.

The other day, I was coming out of a cave, (the one with Clavicus Vile's axe...forgot the name) and I saw a wolf. I snuck up to it to stab it, and did. Then I saw 3 Imperial guards running up the road towards me, and they ran right past. (I wasn't sneaking any more) 2 seconds later, I see sparks in the distance, so I fired an arrow at the source. (it was dark) An enemy life bar shows up and it's a master lightning mage. I thought, '"cool, I'll go take him on!" Next thing I know, he one-shots me from about 20 meters away, and I'm dead. Level 49, all legendary elven armor with +59 health enchantment, and wearing The Gauldur amulet for another +30 health, stamina & magicka. If I hadn't had my bow equipped, I would have had the shield "Spellbreaker", but I don't think I would have even had time to raise it.

I let dragons beat on me a bit, to raise my light armor skill! Crazy to get killed like that.

How do you backstab a Dragon?

Uhm... what difficulty are you playing on? Insane Level! Good gravy. One shotted by a Storm Mage? Now that's amazing!

Just playing the default (normal?) tho I'll have to check now that you mentioned it!

I also have a funny glitch that happened... I came home to lakeview manor to discover that bandits had kidnapped my wife (Jordis the swordmaiden). So I went to rescue her. As soon as I killed the last bandit, it said "mission completed: rescue Jordis", but I hadn't let her out of the cage yet. So I opened the door, which swung inwards, and she kind of got stuck behind it, but was trying to walk through it. So I left the cave and fast-travelled home. Jordis was there, but now she constantly shuffles in place, like she was in the cage! It never stops, and I occasionally see her walking backwards around the house. If I take her as a follower, she doesn't follow me. If I go through a door that requires a load screen, she will be there, but again, just shuffles in place! So now I can't use her as a follower anymore. It is funny to watch, though...
