It all started when I got Oblivion as a hand-me-down from one of my mums co-workers. I got so addicted to the game and completed everything so I decided I would get Skyrim as well

Yea the combat is very static, It was just really hard for me to get back into, I played at least 1000hrs before Skyrim was released so it was my fav game for a long time, when I play it I just think Why am I not playing Skyrim when it has so much more to it, its a shame really but I wish people who's first Elder scrolls was Skyrim that they played Oblivion first so they could appreciate it as much as when it was game of the year. What I miss about Oblivion 3 things stand out 1. I miss the greenery I dont like to many mountains and all that snow in Skyrim I tend to stick to falkreath/Whiterun and the Rift holds its just more pleasant in the plains than the mountains for me. 2. the hotkeys system was amazing I could switch weapons instantly now we have that terrible system called the favrites menu that pauses the game and that can take 10 seconds if u have a huge list to scroll threw. 3. I liked the musical score alot more. those are the three main things for me, Im taking a guess as to the next Elder scrolls being in either Valenwood or Elswyr nice greenery in each for me Tropical/forests the reason I think that is because after the snow of Skyrim I think they would do opposite climates. plus I cant see them doing Hammerfell or Highrock as that would mean 3 human provinces in a row if they pickd one of them. 3 games ago it was Morrowind Dunmer so they have done elves lately maybe next game is the beast races turn to have a go. oops a little of topic probably lol.

I like this topic though.. I love to speculate about the next TES. I agree with you on that they will do something completely different then the climate we see in Skyrim. People need change after this. It's like when you look at one perticular color too long, and then turn around and watch a white wall then the contrast color appears instead.. An odd comparison I guess, but this is sort of a base for everything. Eat too much of one thing, you want to eat something very different for a while. Listening to loud music all day really makes you appreciate the silence. Walking around in snowy landskapes for 1,5 years really makes you yearn for a tropical beach.. But I still love Skyrim though.. And I see there has been alot of rumors about them not making any more DLC's and that makes people upset. I like to see the bright side of it: If they are done with Skyrim that could mean they are starting the process of making the next TES. I could talk about the next TES for hours!

very good examples :) yea I do think there will be more dlc though, what I hate about Bethesda is they dont tell there fans nothing we just want an answer yes or no, its so simple yet they dont do it :S why all the secrets all the time they think there cool on social networking sites and the net with there phrases we cannot speculate, we aint asking for u to speculate just a one word yes or no lol. plus the longer u know there is a dlc coming the more u look forward to it surely that would only drive sales and keep people playing, I know I wil play until the day TES 6 comes out :D

When we were talking about playing Oblivion and how that just didn't work out after skyrim, I started to think about how we will look back on Skyrim after TES6.. As I said, the things that I can't deal with when it comes to playing Oblivion is mostly the fighting system. And ofcourse the graphics, but I could see past that if nothing else was the problem. I wonder how the fighting system will be in TES6.. And if we will say the same thing about Skyrim as we do about Oblivion now..
