Want to roleplay a new character? Don't quite know how to roleplay? Don't quite know what to roleplay? Have I got just the thing for you! Earlier on, I made this chart for a certain other forum and I figured I should post it here, too. It gives you a race, hometown, job, alignment and...
Thanks! I'm currently chopping wood in Whiterun (as I type this) to pay for my first batch of lessons. Already leveled Illusion up a little with Muffle. I swear, if that guy goes on about his tender rack of ribs for much longer...
Thanks for the input but in the end, I went with an Altmer. Not because they make good mages mind - they're one of the two races, alongside Argonians, that I haven't seriously played on Skyrim before.
I know the idea of playing a healer/cleric/priest isn't really original, but I think the way I'm going to do it might be. My character, of undecided race/gender/name, will wind up at Whiterun (deliver dragon news, stay there). He'll then do the quest for Danica Pure-Spring at the Temple...
How do you unlock the other houses? I've only ever had the letter for Falkreath.
I built the greenhouse, library and alchemy tower last time I built a house. I was an alchemist at the time and they all proved pretty useful. For all of its critics, I think it's a great piece of DLC.
I agree. Bannermist Tower is a great home for a hunter. There's the cage area to store pelts in, a tanning rack, bed, chair with flag at the top with a table to chill out and read, a few tables to displays stuff...it's pretty cool.
You can! If you hire all of the people available for the house in Falkreath, you'll have a house carl, bard, steward and carriage driver. If you then get a follower, a dog, a wife and two thralls/summons, it gets pretty packed. Imagine it's a guild and voila. Fill the basement room with pelts...
You could also try a character where you only sneak. You wouldn't be able to talk to people and would have to make up your own quests/gather your own gear from the wilderness.
Play it without sneak, it'll make for a refreshing change of pace. Not only will it make the game more challenging but it'll also make it slightly more realistic, which helps with the RPing if that's what you're doing.
If you must have a form of stealth, a MuffleMage hybrid build could be fun...
