Madrar
The Shadow in the Dark.
Salthar noticed a pair of Draugr go down with arrows in their back, and nodded his thanks to the female Bosmer. 'She may be more useful than I thought' he surmised to himself, as he cut down yet another beast. Since all the Draugr inside were little more than dusty corpses, he headed outside. He noticed Ysarth, Galten and the others chopping, shooting and slashing their way through the horde.
He noticed Ysarth in his white armour, dancing a magnificient dance of death through a group of undead. Salthar was quickly brought back to the present, however, when a spear of ice flashed past his head and embedded itself in the wall of the Inn. He tracked the trajectory of the attack to a Draugr overlord. Clearly, he'd been a powerful mage in his past life, as magicka flickered on both of his skeletal hands.
The undead mage nodded, raising it's hands in a challenge. It was to be an honourable duel, then. Salthar nodded and prepared his own spells, sheathing his sword. The two opponents, undead mage, and vampiric sorcerer faced off, blasting a variety of spells at one another. The air between the two literally shivered with arcane power. This Draugr was no amateur spell caster...but then again, Salthar had had decades to learn the art of spellcraft.
"You're good...but not good enough" with that comment, he drew his arm back, a whip of fire appearing in his hand, and he brought it down on the Draugrs' wards. With a crack like stone breaking, the vampire's opponent's wards crumpled and broke. Salthar's second attack, an Incinerate spell, blasted a fist sized hole in the undead beings chest and set the rest of the creature on fire. Re-drawing his sword, he waded back into the vicious melee that was being waged throughout the village.
