I want to be FEARED!
Recently, I've noticed the debate over whether this form of sexuality actually exists or not. It was brought to my attention by my girlfriend, as well as a homosexual man with whom I work with.
I told him I had a girlfriend and he immediately assumed I was a lesbian. When I informed I wasn't, that I was bisexual, I was met with disbelief. Needless to say, it stung a bit. I'm neither confused or in denial. I know what my sexual orientation is, I have for quite some time. However, at the same time I was completely oblivious to the negative outlook on bisexuality from the gay community. In my opinion, that makes it even more difficult for a bisexual individual to come out. Not being accepted from straights and gays.
Thoughts? Opinions?
I'd like to hear what others have to say on this topic.
