Damn, our characters are quite similar @Blitzz .

I don't think they're that similar. We have a Nord that likes a night around the fire, a nord that likes a night socialising and a nord that likes sleeping with as many people as possible [emoji14]

I more meant as in build and appearance lol. Both are big men, same age, same birthday (both on the 14th day)

BACKSTORY

Childhood:Born in Falkreath Hold to a commoner family. Had a twin brother named Valdr, who became close friends as well as siblings. Learned to use a bow with the guardsmen, and collected ingredients around the town to sell to the local Apothecery for pocket money, subsequently developing a light interest in Alchemy.

Early Teens: Began hunting in the forest around Falkreath with his brother and a group of other friends. Became further skilled with a bow, but made a vow never to sell off animal parts out of pity for the creatures. After several wolf bites, Caldr began to learn how to produce potions that could cure diseases.

Late Teens: One day a priest of Kynareth arrived in Falkreath, and opposing views led to him and a hunter from Valdr's group to be thrown in jail. Caldr, who had been visiting the barracks/jail on a frequent basis in his training for becoming a guard, met the priest in his cell, and they engaged in peaceful discussion about Kyne and her emphasis on the balance of nature, which the teen Nord took to heart. A few days later Caldr explained to his family about his desire to become a priest of Kyne, and that he wanted to go off to Whiterun to serve at the temple. His family gave consent, but his brother renounced him for his abandonment of the hunting party.

Adulthood: Caldr went to live in Whiterun, and he became a priest of Kynareth. But the magic and lack of action the job involved left him bored and agitated, and so he decided to join the Stormcloak rebellion, having become friends with the Grey-Mane family during his time in Whiterun.
He joined the Stormcloaks as an Archer, using his old hunting skills against the Imperials to become quite a stealthy operative. Throughout the Civil War he killed many Imperials and a few Thalmor without sustaining any major wounds.

When Ulfric came to power and the fighting stopped, Caldr figured to teach his stealth skills to the current and next generation of Stormcloaks, and makes a fair living out of his lessons and selling the odd potion or poison he makes. Though never having met Ulfric in person, the Nord remains ever faithful to the Stormcloak cause, and is grateful in that he has met others in the rebellion who also worship Kyne.

I'm unsure about what to do for a character really, since I'd quite like to play someone with some doubt in Ulfric, but obviously they wouldn't be a part of it... :/

They're perfectly allowed to have doubt in Ulfric. One of my characters dislikes the racism he presses down but serves him out if a sense if duty.

Were one Stormcloak short of a squadron! (Sorry Epic, didn't mean to pressure you into making a Stormcloaks) TBH I never really cared much for the rebels, but I am certainly interested in being someone with less open-minded views for a change. It makes for a more interesting character I guess. Also, less people is not a bad thing. Less confusion in co-ordinating confusing scenes.

BACKSTORY

Childhood: Born in Solitude. Her father was a Breton merchant who had a one-night-stand with a Nord barmaid, who eventually gave birth to Selena. She has never met her father. She was raised in a small house in Solitude, working as a waitress from the age of 8 at the tavern her mother worked at.

Early Teens: As Selena grew older, she also grew more adventurous. She began to explore outside the city walls, until her mother discovered this and tried to stop her. It didn't take long for her to realise that Selena would explore whether or not she was told not to, so she instead decided to use her small income to buy Selena sword-fighting lessons, so she could defend herself. It seemed Selena had found her calling.

Late Teens: Selena continued to explore and train, becoming very skilled with a sword, and even more skilled at tracking. She found a clearing, coming there regularly every time she went outside the city walls to eat a small lunch. One day, she took her mother along with her as well, and just spent time with her.
However, they were attacked. Something out of sight, hidden among the trees. Selena's mother was shot in the abdomen, and Selena escaped with a deep scratch on her upper arm. Selena's mother later died, and Selena, at the age of 19, became the cynical, sarcastic, logical woman she is today. She took her sword and gear, and left Solitude to become a mercenary.

Adulthood: Selena has found a lot of work in recent years, with the civil war, on both sides of the conflict. However, she found herself drawn more to the Stormcloak side, due to her in-born hatred of the Dominion. She wasn't a supporter of Ulfric's blanket "Skyrim for the Nords" policy, and certainly wasn't a fan of the discrimination that the Dunmer of Windhelm suffered. However, she hated the Aldmeri enough to take Ulfric's side. However, she never enlisted. She maintained herself as a mercenary, but instead rented her services to Stormcloaks exclusively in civil war matters. This latest development seemed like a mix of excellent pay, excellent reputation and stopping something that was inevitably (in her eyes, anyway) a Dominion plot, and so she has put herself forward.
