Okay, that is freakin' weird! Might have to see if Aerin does that if Mjoll dies on me. It was bad enough when he suddenly popped up in my house. I'm using a mod that lets me dictate where my followers live, so I told Mjoll she's living with me and he suddenly appeared out of thin air and...
I also fell into the habit of repeating myself each time I created a new character (1. escape Helgen, 2. clear Embershard Mine, 3. visit the Guardian Stones, 4. murder the hunter nearby and steal his/her stuff, 5. visit Riverwood, etc), which became very boring. That's why I decided to try the...
There are quite a few quest mods available that give you new locations to explore. I enjoyed Moonpath To Elseweyr and I'm going to try out Sea of Ghosts soon. Although I haven't yet tried them, I've seen several immersion mods that sound like they would make the game more challenging (such as...
For those of you who enjoy beating the crap out of certain brats, check out "The Sociopath" in the bottom right corner. ;) That creepy grin is exactly how I imagine my Dovahkiin looks right before she shouts Nelkir across the great hall of Dragonsreach...
This site has a long list of furniture items. Just use CTRL F to search for "child." There were quite a few bed options on there. Lists: Furniture, Containers, Books | MMO-Game Portal
It sat for about half-hour and still wasn't there. Didn't show up in data files until I had shut down and restarted computer. Don't know what I did wrong.
Thanks for the suggestions, everybody!
@DeathWish FK - my copy is legit. I've only tried subscribing to one mod on Steam so far and it took forever to actually show up. Bit frustrating...
Okay, folks. I finally gave in and forked over the money for a new laptop. I now have a fabulous rig that runs Skyrim on Ultra with no problem (at least so far), so I'm looking for suggestions of mods to use or console commands to play with. I'm new to modding, so I need things that are easy...
Once you've been accepted to the college just go straight to his room (skip all the quests). If you do that before getting the tour from Mirabelle then I believe the Arch-Mage will remain outside in the courtyard, so there should be no witness to the theft.
I'm gonna have to try that. Hopefully it'll turn out better than the last time I tried to drop so-called weaponry. Had a guard in Morthal bitch at me: "You shouldn't leave weapons laying around. Someone could get hurt. And if I see you do it again, that someone will be you." What was really sad...
Speaking of the Falmer: Why do they have coins locked away in their chests? It's not like they're going to stop by the market in Whiterun to buy fruits and vegetables from Carlotta. Same goes for the giants. I can understand having stuff like furs and weapons, but what use is money to...
Isn't everyone (at least in Skyrim)?
I'm fond of potions ingredients (though I rarely brew any) and staffs (I never use them). I'm also obsessed with owning one of every book and every type of clothing/armor available.
Bought house in Riften. Harvested garden. Killed chickens in garden. Went into Honeyside and walked over to cooking pot to make dinner. Got attacked by lunatic housecarl. Killed her while defending myself, reloaded game, left those damned birds alone!
I would love it if we could use various water vessels...and it would be even better if we could swim underneath unsuspecting fishermen and tip their boats over!
Pheromones? (Goes along with what Neriad said above) The Dragonborn's got a dovah soul and he/she is young, so maybe the other...
Strong Nord woman? The very first time I took her on a mission she got killed by a low-level bandit. One single opponent! That's not strong...that's pathetic. I have this theory that Balgruuf assigned her as my housecarl in the hopes she'd get herself killed, because he's tired of her whining...
@ buggegirl99 - I don't get the attraction, either. Personally, she's my favorite follower to 'accidentally' kill. I've come up with so many fantastic ways for her to die...
Still no positive news. They are working on it, but there is no guarantee it will ever be released for that console. I am currently in the process of picking out a gaming laptop, since I'm tired of the issues related to the PS3. Don't get me wrong, I love playing Skyrim on it, but the...
Definitely sounds like a mod. If it was just a nameless wolf I would say it was a glitch...like the friendly sabercat that followed me around for hours, attacking anything that attacked me. Damned Filnjar in Shor's Stone killed my pet kitty!
