It was two sentences. Perfectly in character, entirely reasonable from everything Duncan had said and how he had acted. It was important for Ben to get to main squad interaction while also being told his rank was reduced. I am perfectly fine with this, I WILL NOT consider it meta-gaming.This is a new Roleplay. Call me optimistic, but I really dont think we need to worry about the speed of the story right now. & regardless of whether that dialouge had already been said, you have denied other Roleplayers the chance to interact with your character using their own choice of wording. Perhaps the owners of these characters dont mind a little light scripting on your behalf, but failure to even mention your plans in the OOC prior to your post means that it qualifies at Meta-gaming. When you joined this RP you were agreeing to not do this among other things, I assumed you read the rules at the start?
Please notify people in the future if you plan to script their Characters. This is nothing major, but I merely wish to clearly establish the rules set.
As for your problem Terrik, maybe try contacting an admin?
If I sometimes need to add 1-2 sentences to keep a nice flow, I WILL do it. Everyone should. It is just stupid to try to make people write a post, then have to wait 1 day or more for a simple 1 sentence response before continuing. If I didn't have time to write a post after that, it would have my character in an awkward state of being between positions while other people could be talking and interacting for a couple of days while I'm too busy to post.
This is not even a case of meta-gaming. It's a case of you being picky to try to prove a point, and I suggest you actually wait for a viable case before jumping on me.
And also, it really is not appreciated to have spent a good three hours working on that post, with the time added to read and re-read everyone's posts to make sure all the words, colors, times, and emotions were consistent just to have you try to make a big deal over 1-2 sentences which, and this is really worth mentioning, were perfectly in-character.
