Magic is not for everyone, Consult a doctor if you experience charred face, suffering from Weresheep disease, seeing things that aren't really there, and volatile discharge of daedra. Magic; It's not for everyone. (Commercial for Magic Users)
Nord. I named my character Wulfgar, in memory of one of my all time favorite characters by Ra Salvatore. When I first met up with the Greybeards I thought that the greybeard who was named Wulfgar was me, but older. I figured it would be some kind of storyline or something. Then the leader of the greybeards said the actual name, and I knew it was just a coincedence.
Thief/Assassin characters seem to be more rewarding. Probably because you have to slow things down and actually enjoy the game, rather than running around hacking and slashing everything.
There are several races of men and mer but there is ONLY ONE CAT!!! hahaha or lizard too. I'm sad that there is only one argonian vote so far. I like both a lot. I hope we get to over 100 votes to see some real statistics.
I gotta admit I do love the way thief/assassin is played. I've never really had any trouble with my Breton assassin aside from weak spots in her growth (I took up the thief stone first). I am still shocked that Nord isn't the first, of course as Hex said there aren't viable stats yet due to the small number of voters.
I do eventually plan on running a new character, and tbh I prefer to do what I did with my Breton. I will probably go Khajiit and design the Khajiit as a mage. Or I may go Orc melee only with enchanting. I will probably go with the Orc because of how much magic I actually use with my assassin.
My first is a female Nord barbarian and technically my first character
Also have a male Argonian mage-assassin, Redguard assassin, Breton mage-warrior and an Imperial knight.
Goal is to have at least one character of each race...(but sadly blank of character concepts and ideas, I try to roll with a good story and character before I start up).
I'm probably going to create another Nord as my canon/main questline character, still need an Imperial Legion and Bards College character as well as a Daedra specialist.
I vote Nord because eventually I will roll another as my canon Dovakhiin (the Nord I have now is nice but I don't think she makes a good canon for my headcanon lol).
Dark Elf Spellsword/Conjurer. Although i barely ever use the spell racial Ancestors Wrath, i like the Destruction bonus and the +50% Fire Resistance is nice when in dragon fights.
i have one character so far he is a Nord/Warrior he uses only Axe's he uses only brute strength and no magic what so ever and i just joined the companions yesterday
Wow I am quite impressed with the input and game race involvement here on what they do and choose to play. I always played stuff outside the box; Orc Monk/Ninja/Rogue style / Dark Elf Cleric / Khajiit Witchhunter / Argonian Mind Bender (Illusion/Alteration/Conjuration focused) / Imperial Hammersmith (One/Two Hand specialized for maces) / Redguard Wizard-Craftsman / Wood Elf Merchant.
