Mafia 2 is brilliant, but I am slightly slightly more liking L.A. Noire.
You can't randomly mug shops in L.A. Noire
But yeah, the 1950s setting in games is probably my favorite.

Just a small list of the games I play...
Elder Scrolls (series)
Mass Effect (series)
Dragon Age (series)
Assassin's Creed (series)
Fallout 3 and New Vegas
Well, my current list goes like (In no specific order):
- Skyrim
- Hitman Absolution
- Civilization V
That's all really, I occasionally play BO2 but it feels too repetitive, and Minecraft I rarely play anymore, sometimes I play Spore if I feel like it. I'd like to get XCOM: Enemy Unknown, but I feel like I'd suck at it too much for some reason, lol. And I want to get back into Dwarf Fortress, but I haven't got around to it yet.
xcom is something else, give it a look if you already havent (necro thread sorry!). if you dont mind saving/reloading a lot its cake, but go for ironman setting and its a beast to play but massively rewarding
