Werewolf Questions

I've heard a few mechanic on werewolves, such as what decides its damage, armor rating, and regeneation, but my sources are conflicting so I'm asking on the forums. What decides the werewolves damage (I've heard levels and one-handed skill)? What decides armor (one source says you don't get any other says its dependent on light armor skill)? Is feeding the only way to regenerate (another source said going on a 'killing frenzy' regenerates health)? And do any perks stay active during the beast mode duration? Thanks.

im not sure about the attack or armor but there is no health regen and you have to feed on the bodies to get health back. also feeding lets you stay a werewolf longer.

By killing frenzy they mean kill a lot of people and feed
