Character Card
Name: Flie (all he remembers of his real name)
Race: Imperial but raised by the Skaal
Age: In his 30's
Gender: Male
Appearance: Soft, dull black hair, short and slicked back. Resembles a duck's down feathers. Slender, average height, long arms, and hardened face (acquired by extensive travel through the desert)
Equipment/items: Custom made iron sword (main weapon), sharpened only on one side, with grooves on the other side so blood doesn't stick or stain it.
Wears a "dunmer outfit" with a hood.
Also carries a small hunting knife.
Personality: With a respect for life of many forms, Flie refuses to put an end to something that can be turned from evil. He was trained to be a swordsman in Solstheim but wanted to move to Cyrodiil to be a merchant. He is as wise as an owl and the manners of a gentleman. He prefers to talk his way out of potential fights, and his sword doesn't get much use although he carries it with him at all times. He resolves all conflicts and will not use his expertise in swordsmanship unless he is forced to.
Background: Flie was given the name as an infant, as it was written on a box traveling to Solstheim. A dunmer family, instead of receiving an important shipment, were surprised to find the box titled Flie. The box was filled with hay, and atop the hay was a baby, seemingly imperial. The child was starving and very sick. The dunmer family kept him and nursed him back to health, yet couldn't afford to raise him, and abandoned him at a relatively young age.
Flie was forced to take up swordsmanship, as the inhabitants of the island weren't exactly friendly. He developed his own form of fighting, and travelled to the Skaal village. While there, he was taught of the Skaal's religion. Although the Skaal raised him according to their religion, Flie developed his own beliefs. These included his fondness for peace, and learned to stay positive, even through disaster.
At the age of twenty, he set out to find purpose in his life. He wandered in the desert for weeks on end, surviving on little water and barely any food. He was found and brought to Raven-Rock, where he worked at a bar until he gained enough money to travel to Skyrim. Once there, he made a name for himself in Windhelm, then moved south into Riverwood. He defended the town in the time of the dragons, and once Alduin was defeated, he moved East, for fear that Riverwood would be overrun by the growing threat of the undead.
