Warrior with cold support

I'm on my way to making a warrior type character with cold spells for just slowing down effect not damage. I will be dealing damage with weapons but using frostbite or ice storm and freeze them what do you think ?

Sounds like a good idea to me. You could also use a calm spell and beat the crap out of them.

(Soltheim Spoiler) if you get a ring called azhidal's ring it has a spell called freeze. It slows enemies down more than any other ice spell.
