Xbox 360 treasure hunting

so i have the second or third treasure map and i went to the location and nothing is there, i used youtube for the location and my game guide sell nothing, do i have to get the first map to start the quest? also for no stone unturned what is the reward at the very end, is it worth completing? and for the dragon priests masks where do i get the dragon masks?

Neither the treasure maps nor the dragon priest masks are worth the trouble, in my opinion, unless you just use them as a motivation to explore. The dragon priests will pwn your ass if you're low level.

The treasure maps aren't quests, you just have to try to find the stuff using the "map". Rewards seem petty, but i only tried a couple, and probably found more by accident. (Hidden chests in the middle of nowhere).

If you're just starting and have no money or gear, you may get something useful from the chests, if you make it to one of them. They seem to have enemies around them.

The treasure map have to be in your inventory to locate the treasure. you kind of have to orient yourself to the same way the map is looking to find the chests. there is no quest for them. the only treasure quests are the random "treasure hunters" that are usually dead on the side of the road and they have a note that says to check out some cave for some item. I think they're random.

The unsual stones quest is good because at the end it will give you an active effect, can't remember it now.
That and it gets rid of all them damned stones.

hmmm... that reminds me, need to mention to Shew about the random treasure hunters but more importantly the map you can get from the Daedric Pirate locked in the Midden at the college.
