Tips for stealth/thief/assassin

hello, im trying out the above mentioned character and am having some difficulty with pretty much everything (only a level 5 right now). Any overall tips to help with this character? ive already done a mage and a dual wielding warrior so i want to try something new. Thanks folks

 

[Nightmare Shadow]

Well early on sneak is very very important, and (if thief stone is equipped) levels very fast. I suggest joining the dark brotherhood, as the armor you get immediately helps with being an assassin. When out in the wilds, do not run but crouch and sneak everywhere. Also, take up smithing, enchanting, or alchemy (that way you can boost your weaponry or enhance your current gear. It is a pain to start off with, but soon enough, you'll be so good at sneaking you can literally be right in front of your enemies and won't be spotted. Keep at it!

Stealth is easy enough, thief.. join the theives guild in Riften and dark brother for assassin .

Use a bow to start out with untill you get the staby staby perks. Fire one shot, hide, and repeat. It's a good idea to move location after each shot is fired because they will catch on sooner or later. Like the other guys have said, join the Thiefs guild! You get a nice suit of armor and access to skill trainers.

What everyone else has said is good enough to get you on the right track. Another thing though, make sure you also level up one-handed if you can, because it might help you in certain situatios when there's no way out.
