Ozan
the Magnificent Bastard
A Khajiit sits near a fire within his camp, waiting patiently as he holds a note. He stares blankly into a fire, reciting strange riddles to himself. He consistently repeats himself, memorizing the absurd words. Almost immediately, Ozan was taken from his train of thought after a Nord stumbles upon his camp.
As the Khajiit pans his gaze, he addresses the man. "The courier?"
The man nods. "Ozan?"
"The Magnificent Bastard, yes. Khajiit has been waiting..." he pauses as he holds the note towards the Nord, offering it subtly. "It would be best if you read it aloud to Ozan, to ensure no spelling or grammatical errors."
"...why?"
"Because formalities are most important to this One as well as an important bonus for the courier. Please, continue."
With a strained sigh, the Nord begins reading. "To the many adventurers of Skyrim. To the many heroes of Tamriel. To the great poets, scholars, and brawlers of Nirn. There is a camp within the Rift, an hour's walk south of the Nord city of Riften. There, a Khajiit who awaits a restricted number of such adventurers.
This Khajiit seeks what was mentioned. There is need of great wit and skill and strength. They without need not read further. Bring one, bring two, or bring all but do not arrive with none. As time passes, the chance to recover a magnificent treasure shrinks that much more. The chance for great wealth slowly passes.
Seek Ozan, the Magnificent Bastard. Seek with him and others for a rare Elder Scroll. Good luck."
Ozan nods. "Does this not suffice, does the Nord think?"
The courier shrugs. "Seems like a bit much."
"Ah, but the Courier has just met Ozan. Magnificence is achieved only when one aspires."
"Seems big... doubt you'll get anyone worth while though."
The Khajiit cocks his brow, glaring slightly. He tosses a small bag of coins to the man. "Take your coin and leave Ozan. Remember to make copies and send each to all the Nord holds."
The couriers catches the bag, leaving with a grin. The Khajiit continues to memorize words.
