Stuck quests for Jarl Skald

So... I'm already thane of Dawnstar, but I've seen a bunch of Collect The Bounty From Skald quests appear in my questline, that I cannot actually collect on.

I think this has something to do with a kill the giant quest I picked up in the inn. I was asked to slay a giant, and on my way up the hill, I took out every giant along the way. I am assuming that these bounty's are for these other giants.

So in looking for another quest, I received a bounty letter for a giant I already killed, but I had to visit the giants camp before I could return to Skald to collect... That's when all the collect bounty quests were added.

I figured I would just go and keep collecting these quests at the inn until I cleared them up, but on the next bounty quest, they asked me to slay the Dragon at Sheerpoint... This has been long done, and in visiting sheerpoint agani, there is no dragon, and I cannot collect the bounty.

Hope this all makes sense.

Anyone have a similar experience? Any remedies? Not a huge hang up, but I am in "clearing my quest list up," mode.

I got a few quests like that where it didn't clear due to glitch. Not much I can do, but since they didn't interfere with the main quest line, I basically let it go.

I had a few of those myself. They didn't go away after I collected the bounty. a minor annoyance but didn't cause problems.
