Xbox 360 Skyrim Bug Question

allright i started a new game to do everything different then i did in my first game but im at the quest paarthanax i have to kill him but i been attacking him for 2hours now and he wont turn hostile and he wont die he just sits there on his stone and do nothing, how can i kill him if he dont turn hostile?

2: since i downloaded the Dragonborn DLC my xbox keeps freezing anyone knows why? and when this will be fixed?

For a freezing, clear your cache, (you can find out how by Googling it), and reduce the amount of saves. Also, do you have it fully installed?

As far as Paarthurnax? I've not yet attempted to kill him, and I'm not sure I will in the future.

What difficulty setting are you using and what's the displayed damage on your weapon?

One published solution is to fast travel away and back to the Throat of the World.

Another is to try and kill him with Mehrunes' Razor.
