... but I already have.

I did a clean reinstall of Skyrim because reasons, and also bought Dawnguard and Hearthfire because of a 50% off sale, and... now I get that.

The file version of the Skyrim launcher says 1.7.7.0. I don't know if that's helpful or not; I'm totally stumped on this issue.

I think I figured out what the issue was. I did another reinstall because with my processor it doesn't take long to move mass amounts of data, and I also did the verify game cache thing through Steam and that downloaded the DLCs and patch it looks like.

The game launches with the normal launcher now, so I'm gonna make a backup and then install SKSE, see if it launches again, and then install my Nexus mods.
