Ok guys so I just bought hearthfire and was buying iron from the skyforge when I saw Aela the huntress sitting there. I was shocked because she was my wife previously and she mysteriously disappeared mid-adventure. Scarier yet, she had all the things I gave her on the adventure I lost her! However, she had regular, unmarried dialogue. She had the bond of matrimony to prove it. Can hearthfire really do this? Can she be my wife again?

Well, there's only one sure-fire way to find out. Propose to her again. She'll love it as you'll know all the things that made her squeal in the first place, so it'll be wonderful.
