One-handed Blocking Perks?

I've created a Samurai character on Skyrim. He's 100% dedicated to Swordsmanship so without a shield, 1 sword blocking is all that i have.

Do the Blocking Perks support blocking without a shield?
It seems that the right hand-side of the perk tree might but I'm not sure and don't want to waste time and my valuable perk points....

Also, is the "Block ##% of damage with your Shield" Enchantment, 100% exclusive to shields? Is it glitched so that it's effective for 1 sword blocking too?

I know the majority of the blocking perks work with any weapon. 1hand, 2hand, staff, bow, sheild...etc. If I remember correctly bashing only works with shields, two-handed weapons and bows,

As far as I know, blocking skill will only increase if you actively block with a shield and the perks in blocking will only pertain to use of a shield.

Hmm. Ok, thanks for the heads-up.

If i find any blocking perks that assist 1 handed blocking, i'll point it out here for people.

Being a Samurai will be a lot harder than I thought
