To be completely honest I didn't notice a whole lot of difference while playing today with the new patch. I got in a solid 4 hours or so this morning and nothing really stood out and said "FIXED!
!" but that is the nature of things that work the way they are supposed to. I did run into a couple of graphical glitches that popped up but immediately disappeared. I had one small amount of lag but to be fair I was in an area loaded with about 20 forsworn in the OPEN WORLD so I'll give a little leniency for that one. I think what was most disappointing for me was that they still haven't fixed the "quest items" not removing from inventory.....stupid elder scroll. I'd also like to see follower AI (rather player tracking) updated a bit. Honestly at this point in time I have not run into a single game breaking glitch (knock on wood). Either I'm getting lucky or I'm handling properly with my saves.
Seriously, and I don't want to sound like an ass hole about this, anyone who is a veteran to either these forums or TES games should know by now how to properly save and load to ensure they are not getting screwed by a major glitch. We are barely past the first month of what is arguably one of the largest most involving video games ever made....it's going to have issues. Is it fair? No. Should we have to accommodate for it? Again no. Fact is though that bitching about it isn't going to fix anything (at least not here....give it a shot on beth forums
). Terribly sorry to be that guy but my glass is half full and while others are allowing themselves to be thoroughly upset by a "broken" game, I am enjoying the hell out of one of the best, most entertaining games I have ever played.
Again take everything I said however you want, but rather than complain about things that I personally cannot fix (never got into VG development) I am going to plan accordingly, and ride the plops outa every last red penny I spent on this game. Thank you Bethesda for making a game I can spend
literally hundreds of hours playing and enjoying every bit.
