Naming during Enchantment

I like to name items for quick identification, so I can have sets of apparel for different purposes. However, I find I cannot name things before the potions to enhance Enchantment wears off. So, I have to choose: named items or more powerful items. I am on a PS3, with only the on-screen keyboard.

Any ideas?

I'll give you the same advice I give everyone :

Get a PC.

Seriously though, if I was you I would either save/load until you're finally fast enough to get all the letters or start using abbreviations... not as pretty but does the job.
