I done some looking and playing with perks. With 5 points in each (focused on making the armor lighter for heavy armor) I found out Light armor not only weights far less (i know real shocker) BUT it also gives more protection.

Just thought this might be helpfull info for anyone going warrior build, if you want to go heavy armor focus on upping the defense more then going for the light weight perk. Otherwise you got weighted down NICE looking armor that doesn't give all the protection it can.

If anyone else wants to add info on this id like to see what others found out.

You know I debated supporting this theory for quite some time but in the end my need to role play won out. I can't justify wearing glass on my, in the thick of things, built to take a beating, Redguard knight.
Pretty much this. Light Armor gives much better Armor/Weight ratio, but Daedric/Dragonbone/Ebony is just so hot on my broad-shouldered warrior. :>
