Is there a trigger for the Viligilants of Stendarr?

At their hall south of Dawnstar, the leader is a named Npc.

If not, DLC Batheseda.

Are they the anti-Daedric group ? I think I have met their patrol a couple of times.

Aye. And me too. My Witch hunter character from Oblivion would of fitted in well with them.

Weather there is a trigger for their missions (if there is one) I do not know. If not then yes I would hope they added it in via DLC.

I've 'run into' (read: mercilessly slaughtered and looted) them a few times, too. I always assumed there'd be a questline connecting to them if you were a Vampire or something, but I never got around to vampirism.

According to the UESP wiki there's no quests relating to them, which is a shame.

Also, wierdly enough, apparently if you hit them with Healing Hands there's a chance they will become hostile. Maybe they think it's some undead trickery...
