house of horrors help

i started this quest in Markarth called the house of horrors basically you go in, talk to Molag Bal (Daedra) and then you can leave, but the exit door ays i need a key, in walk throughs some people just leave without a key

Unless you are playing on a PC the only solution I know of for this is to reload a previous save from before you enter the house.
