HELP DawnGaurd Bug makes me stuck on puzzle.

I desperately need help on the Dimhallow puzzle of the Awakening quest on DawnGaurd. I saw the tuturial already, and when I press the button that is in the center of the room, my hand gets stabbed but nothing else happens. There is no purple flame, there is no purple smoke. Nothing happens.

The braziers won't budge, and nothing happens when I press the button in the center of the room, my character's hand gets stabbed and that it. no purple flames, no quest updates.

I repeat, when I press the button in the center of the room, nothing happens! No quest updates, no purple flames, the braziers won't budge.


I tried using the firescroll, but nothing happens.
I tried using the "activate" console code, but nothing happens.

I tried fixing it with the creation kit, but my creation kit crahses to desktop as soon as it loads.



Please help me, is there anyway I can just skip the quest???

I also tried...
disabling all mods
restarting my pc
restarting the game

If I can't get past this bug, then I can't complete dawngaurd unless I can skip the quest.

I was expecting so much out of Dawn Gaurd, and now I'm only on my first quest, and a bug is stopping me from being able to get past the quest. I feel like I wasted all my time on a game that doesn't work for someone that is not a codemaster. I am seriosly dissappointed in Bethesda Softworks.

There are more bugs in Dawn Gaurd too.

I can't even transform into a wherewolf any more, and I love to play as a werewolf.

I just want to play Dawn Guard, what to I do to get it work???!!!!

Can someone atleast tell me the quest id for Awakening so I can skip the bugged quest?
