I'm considering making one. I just want to know if it is difficult and how much time would it take for about a 30 minute quest?

It's a big hammer.
When I read the thread title, I was like, "Hell yeah, I have!" Then I realized, once I read your post, that I haven't made anything nearly as structured as you're thinking. I've given myself, or rather my character, objectives to complete. For example, collecting X amount of hunted animal meat in order to have a meal in honor of a fallen comrade.

I'm pretty sure TheMuffinTop is talking about making a mod with a quest, not creating a question for your character.

I've thought about making a follower who you could only gain by either saving them from a bandit attack or by completing some quest like the one where you retrieve Mjoll's sword. But I have to follow step-by-step directions to even place a custom follower into the world, so a whole quest is a little daunting.
