wow this is really good. I like the bantering between the characters and that dream was certainly telling. Keep it up :)

I've found that bantering really helps with setting the general mood of the story, and I'm glad you like my fanfic. I was fairly skeptical of putting the dream in Chapter 2, and I still am, a little bit. I like to keep an even ratio of fast-paced, action-filled chapters to slower, relaxed chapters, if that makes sense. And if you're wondering about what the dream meant, well, that will be revealed later in the series :p

Wow chapter four was so sad  I hope he can find Lokir. The description of the fire was quite good...my own eyes itching at your words :)
Did the guards die also? There are several guards in Rorikstead and I have actually lured bandits there so that the guards can help me. They are pretty tough. If they did kill the guards it must have been a significant number of bandits!
Great job and keep it up!

Thanks. At the end of the chapter, Lokir is actually found. And most of the guards died, but in the chapter, the remaining drove the bandits off. Glad you enjoyed it.

Yes, I know what I said earlier. And I know you're probably thinking I'm the most unproductive person in the world (and you're probably right :p). But for a FACT, Chapter 5 is finished. And this series is done. I will be working on the next series very, very soon. In the meanwhile, enjoy Chapter 5 :D
