throughout the game? When I start my character I make them look as young as possible. My mage for example started out skinny, a baby face and a shaven head. When he got to level 10 I went to Riften and paid 1000 orens to change my mages appearance. His hair gets a little longer, he puts on a little more weight, he has stubble and a little more wrinkles now. When he gets to level 20 his hair will get longer, his stubble will grow into a beard and we will have more wrinkles. My level 1 warrior who was skinny and fresh faced now at level 30 is heavily muscled, long hair and beard, face is weather worn with wrinkles and scars. I have a blast role playing my characters this way.
