Argonian Self Destruction

I just don't get it, why must our brethren harm the Argonian name and reputation here in Skyrim? I have only met a select few who aren't somehow harming our name while the others are willing to put their own kin in danger or very well kill them directly just for their own purposes. Madesi and the others in Riften seem to be the least bit reputation suicidal and even a couple of them have their issues. Know any others that aren't harming the Argonian name? List them here and even those who are harming, who do you like moreso than others? Know any reason why this is how it is?
