    Madrar

    The Shadow in the Dark.
    They say the first casualty in war is the truth. In this case, it is far more than the truth that has been cut down. Ulfric Stormcloak announces himself as the bringer of peace and prosperity for Skyrim, and eventually, Tamriel. However, Ulfric's mind not be his own, and a group of elite warriors, assassins and others have been chosen to investigate the strange actions of the new High King. They meet in the small village of Ivarstead, a small, unimportant group of buildings, with no real importance, and a small population.This small team needs to find what they can about Ulfric, and if there are...less than benign forces at work behind Ulfrics' sudden rise to power.

    Rules

    1) No Godmodding

    2) Use proper grammar

    3)Be creative with both your introductions, posts and character cards.

    4) Your introductory post MUST be at least one paragraph.

    5) If you are inactive for more than a week, without informing someone in the OOC (this thread), you will be considered out of the role play.

    6) You may create NPC's if the situation demands it (speaking with an innkeeper, stable keeper, guard, etc.)

    Name: Salthar Vivarian

    Race: Altmer/ Vampire

    Gender: Male

    Age: Nearly two hundred years (looks to be late twenties)

    Alignment: Orderly Evil

    Class: Sorceror/Spellsword.

    Weapons: An ebony sword.

    Armour: Thalmor robes, with red designs as well as the usual gold and black.

    Appearance: Tall(6'5" I think), muscular and lean, gold/red eyes, with two scars under his left eye. Has pitch black , shoulder length hair, and the typical features of the Altmer (high cheekbones, pale gold skin, etc.)

    Backstory: Born on the Somerset Isles, Salthar fought in the Great war, before being assigned to Skyrim, to crush Talos heretics. There he met his wife, who turned him and his brother into vampires. After her death, Salthar came to hate the Nords with a passion, and slew them whenever he had the chance. After Ulfric's death, he retired to the Bloodlet Throne managing his coven and generally leaving the people of Skyrim alone.

    Hmm...Interested. I've got a new Character I'm working on as well, he may fit in well in this role play.

    Name: Navar Harchon.

    Age: 89 (looks mid twenties, human years)

    Race: Breton

    Class: Blood Knight (heavily armoured warrior)

    Weapon: A tempered steel long sword, covered in ancient runes, that glow red when in combat.

    Armour: Blood red steel plate armour, with a black dragon skull painted on the central chest plate.

    Appearance: Tall, raven black hair, that stops just above his shoulders. Pale grey eyes when not in vampire mode, red when in combat, stressed, or feeding. Has noble features, although rather pale, which change into his tru vampiric identity when angered, stressed, or in battle.

    Backstory: Born shortly after the great war, Navar grew up near the Skyrim border, and was abducted by an illusive order of vampires in the Skyrim mountains, where he was trained to become a deadly, immortal knight that brought death and despair among the living.

    Name: Shadari (Shadow)

    Race: Khajiit

    Gender: Female

    Age: Twenty

    Alignment: Neutral Evil

    Class: Assassin

    Weapons: A Falchion

    Armour: Dark grey leather, made to deflect incoming blows.

    Appearance: Height, 5'4", with dark grey, almost black fur. Shadari has bright green eyes, and is easily underestimated due to her smaller size. Has lighter fur at the tip of her ears and tail.

    Back Story: Shadari trained to become an assassin in Elsweyr, and moved to Skyrim when the Civil War broke out, and protected the Khajiit trade caravans from the shadows. She earned her nickname, 'Shadow' by killing an entire camp of bandits without once being noticed. After the war ended, she avoided Stormcloak patrols, and after the High Kings' death, she came back out of hiding, ready and willing to work for a price.

    Name: Anwrise Harr (aka "The Cold One")
    Race: Dark Elf/Vampire
    Age: 820(looks between 20 and 30
    Gender: Male
    Class: " Powerful Mage"/ master of stealth and speech craft. Skilled in melee and unarmed combat.
    Alignment: Lawful Evil
    Appearance and Apparel: Black daedric silk robes with deadric armor peices woven in. Long black hair. Light grey skin. A almost perfect face with high cheek bones, laugh lines, a slightly crooked nose. Eyes are as black as the void and iritis that glow red.

    History and stuff: At a young age Anwrise became a vampire at the age of 25. Anwrise has spent most of his life studying the ways of magic. During this time Anwrise found the Oghma Infinium and studied it for half a century as well as explore many planes of Oblivion. Has been a adveturer/villian. Is also friendly with rogue spell casters, necromancers, Forsworn and ect. Anwrise has a dark cynical sense of humor. Anwrise has a silver tongue that can talk its way out of almost any trouble or into trouble. With almost 1000 years of experience Anwrise is great a knowlege source and guide.

    Name: Kohl Dale(real original name from High Rock was Orthington Ramon, but not many except perhaps DB agents known that. See 'History' for details).



    Race: Breton - werewolf.



    Age: 36


    Gender: Male

    Class: Nightblade. See 'Apparel' for details.

    Alignment: (For a chance, and because it's part of his character) Naturally Good.

    Appearance: Oh, my, if only I could find a picture ... Kohl has numerous scars on his face, although he rarely shares how he got them, and some he doesn't even remember. He calls them his 'battle scars', as is for an obvious reason. He has light skin and cropped black hair. His eyes are light grey. Unlike most bretons, his face is more angular and elegant - not so rounded and clumped like his brethren. He has light, built muscles and a generally good shape, with long legs and a tendency to run on the tops of his feet more than on his heels - both to attract unwanted attention with the noise if he ran flatfooted, and as a way to run faster and with more agility. However, this also rends him more prone to 'flatfoots' to being knocked over while running.

    Apparel: Weapons --> It's ... a bit hard to explain what weapons he carries. It's from a mod, called "The Loners Sword": Steam Workshop :: The Loner's Sword . You'll see other pictures up here too; please, feel free to take a look.

    History: Kohn was locked away by his parents in High Rock because they were afraid that if he went out into the 'real world', his mind would be corrupted by the lethal politics there. When, at 19, he disguises himself as one of the servants of the House of Ramon and escapes from the place(which, by the way, he had been tutored by a tutor his parents had hired instead of learning directly from teachers), he discovers that there is a plot against his family and their House. He immediately goes to this would-be-assailants House of Staurborne and speaks to the Lord there, he is attacked and is forced to flee to Cyrodiil in fear of his life. He later learns that they have contacted the Dark Brotherhood and put out a bounty on his head for 'crime of attempted murder of Lord Staurborne'. He changes his name from the original Orthington Ramon to Kohn Dale, and makes a living freeing Tamriel lightly of dark-striders such as vampires, werewolves, Daedra-worshippers ... you get the idea. He was forced to move to Skyrim in the midst of nightfall when an assassin found him. He trespassed with succession. He has never seen the assassin - a Dunmer woman with common dark red eyes - ever since. He's been wary ever since, but the land of Whiterun has soothed him into a more relaxed state. What Kohl does not know is, the Brotherhood is still behind him, setting their limits and tracking him in silence across Skyrim... Kohl likes Skyrim, despite it's harsh Nords, harsher weather, and the war going on ... but how long will be he able to find him before travel is forced once more to the dank land of Black Marsh ... or before death does?
