Tattoos and Scars: She has her call sign and her company insignia; A combat dagger with dogs tags hanging from the pommel with twin wings. She also has "Like tear drops in the rain" on the back of her neck. Bullet holes can be found in her thigh, a slash mark from her right shoulder blade to her right breast from a nasty scrap with a phantom.
PERSONALITY:
The good: Caring, sympathetic, funny, understanding, accurate, clever. She respects her team mates, and would die for them. Most people find approaching her easy and comfortable. Kenzi respects the chain of command most of the time and knows her place. You can come to her if you need to talk and she wouldn't judge in most cases. Kenzi is often a big sister/motherly figure for the younger people around her.
The bad: Stubborn, set in her ways, can be darkly practical. When someone she loves gets hurt she will sometimes put herself on the line the most extreme of ways and often without thinking it through. Certain times she seeks isolation, locking herself out from the outside world and tunes it out. Kenzi has the ability to be too practical if the need arises. Have a hostage? Shoot them through the leg or shoulder and get the bad guy holding them.
Likes:Music, reading, training, Her few close friends.
Dislikes: Discrimination, beurocrats, Arrogance, stupidity
Combat skills/gear: A M-97 Viper with Harvey etched on the side and the number of her kills on the stocks. She also has Disruptor ammo mods and a decent barrel that packs a punch. Low recoil with massive amounts of stopping fire. Instead of a pistol, she opts for the M-4 Shuriken. She loads it out to make the recoil manageable with a dampener and the same ammo mod as her rifle. She likes to be far, but she loves CQC when it comes down to it. She also has a combat knife that is suited for the modern age that she lives in. For Armor she wears skin fitting armor reinforced with synthetic plating with a hood, and a cloak (Kind of like a more western ash armor Long trench coat type cloak with a hood. The armor) For a mask she has a visor with optic enhancers and a HUD along with a black breathing unit attached (Kind of like Zaeed's but all black and with yellow eye lights)
( It's sleeker and less industrial gas mask looking. It only exposes her hair when its not fully on her head. She open up the top when not in high pressure areas. It covers her whole face, black, and has a visor attached)
HISTORY: Kenzi had a great childhood, up until her father died of cancer when she was just 11 years old. She was a daddy's girl through and through; he would be at every one of his daughters major school events. But her mother was of course in her life and was a big part and would stay home with Kenzi while her father worked. The Dennis family was quite normal and functional. Then out of nowhere, her father died, forever changing her life. Her mother turned to drugs and the bottle while her little girl tried to figure out things by herself.
School wasn't easy for her; she maintained decent grades, but suffered from depression and the only friend she had was James Teller, who had been her best friend throughout her life. When James' mother found out what happened with Kenzi's parents, she adopted Kenzi and promised her a home and to forever love her like a daughter. After that her life turned for the best, finally filling the hole that was left from her parents. Seeing how Jame's mother was serving, all three had to constantly move, never having the same group of friends or staying in the same place for more than a year or two at the max. She was now a part of the Teller family. From then on she found where she needed to be.
At the age of 20 both James and Kenzi enlisted. Her career closely followed that of James. Kenzi scored highly on her marksmanship training and was better suited for stealth fighting and engaging targets from a afar while James was in the ground force. When James took over the company, she was heading the recon division of the company. That was only after long years of service.
Succeeded: While being led by Vex, she was in the recon team with providing cover and taking out as many enemies as her team could without raising alarms. As she got in position, the company was split into two groups; one going in the front, and another going in from the back. She looked into her scope, spotted a group of hostiles, and took out the ones closest to her, putting off two suppressed shots in succession, then one up top when another soldier popped his head out. That let the back team in. She then turned her attention to the well guarded front. Not wanting to be sloppy, she fired off a noise maker, lured two Cerberus soldiers, and took only one shot. Unfortunately, a body fell over the railing, alerting the soldier below. Kenzi didn't have a clear shot. All she had in her sights was his radio attached to his armor that was being talked into. She gambled with the shot she took, but it struck the radio to where it blew up in the soldiers face. Three more came, but her team mates took care of them. The base was raided successfully a few minutes later, and the hostages were free.
Solved: Operation "Trench digger" During their bigger assignments, they were ordered to help defend a turian stronghold against reaper soldiers. Kenzi was set up in a natural cave just over the base, over looking the battlefield. The fighting was intense; husks swarmed the walls of the base along with the field. Those things were the fodder, so she just went to town until her rifle burned hot. Seeing a stand still in the fight, the boys on the ground started digging a large trench by order of Vex. She knew what he was doing, and grinned at the sight. Get all the enemies trapped, then open fire. Kenzi was had it the best though; high vantage point, lots of cover, a sniper rifle, a superior firing position, and now it was unfair. Before too long it was complete, and her company began to fire with whatever they had. She scoped up, and the symphony of thermal clips and blood began. A plops eating grin crept on her face as she began to hum Hall of the Mountain king, that was sinked up to her omni tool that was feeding into the mic piece in her ear that the rest of her company couldn't hear, thankfully.
Failure: Operation "red rain": They had found themselves on a garden planet which would resemble Vietnam in monsoon season with no sun and always in a downpour. As she walked on ahead, she could hear the indigenous creatures call out and make noise, and she could even hear their footsteps and the footsteps of their comrades. Why was it so quiet? Something wasn't right. In this environment there was a lot of brush for cover and a lot of trees for perches. Too much in fact. She swiped her hair back and before she knew it, she heard a loud BANG! After that it was hell. Firing and screams filled the air before she hit the forest ground and started blindly firing, "Ambush!" The crreeping dark monster of the sky was being fought back of splashes of blue and red. They fought back to base camp, but not without heavy losses. James and Kenzi lost half of their friends. Now, the names are etched into their minds and Kenzi holds their closest friends dear to her heart by their dogtags.
