I first got skyrim for PC and got all the DLCs in order.

But now for example, I got skyrim on 360, and i Updated to latest version when I connected to live. So now can I just buy dragonborn since I've done dawnguard a million times? Or do I need to get dawnguard first, then hearthfire, and then dragonborn for compatibility?

thanks

You can just pick the one you like and leave out the ones you don't want. Smart thing to avoid Dawnguard if you don't feel the need to play it.. The vampire raids gets annoying after a while as they tend to kill shop owners and other important NPC's.. And they don't respawn either..

Yes. They are not inter-connected at all and are both stand alone DLC's. You don't need either to play the other.
