I kind of know what this is if you have any item you enchanted yourself with increase magicka for some reason it will give you unlimited magicka. take off your enchanted item and it should stop. but iv tested this theory and it only works with some items at cretin levels of enchanting. Morrowind Overhaul - Sounds & Graphics
If they were going to redo the game it would have probably ben done by now. but there is a beta test that runs morrowind on the oblivion engine, that look pretty cool.- Jakasrith

that was also a very old game and they may not have planed the series getting as big as it is. once it took off it opened up the option to make several games and lots of money.- Jakasrith
