Smithing/Weapon Question.
I've found Iron gauntlets that increase your smithing, so those are floating around. And the Notched Pickaxe increases your smithing, though it doesn't actually say by how much.- Justin Kriegel

It does provide a greater damage boost / Armor boost for weapons and armor respectively. Weapon of choice
I've got my main Character with a Legendary Daedric War Axe (86 damage with +20% One handed damage Ring&Amulet) with 25 points of fire damage in his right hand and Spellbreaker in his left. A lot of things crumple within a few swings of that axe, and it only takes me a few minutes to take down...- Justin Kriegel

Destruction magic underpowered?
I think Destruction is definitely lacking in power. With my character wearing his "Mage outfit" which consists of a bunch of fortify magicka and fortify magicka regen stuff, I've gotten up to 560 Magicka and ~+240% Magicka regen (With Atronach Stone). Your "wow" moments.
My real "WOW" moment was when I was forced to fight ~6 Draugrs while trying to fight 2 Frost Dragons, followed directly by a Dragon Priest... It was, by far, the most hectic fight I have ever involved myself in. Luckily, my trusty Spellbreaker was at my side to enable to me take the frost breath...- Justin Kriegel

If I remember correctly, you run into the skeletal dragon in Labyrinthian, and I got Morokei quite early. I did the college before I did anything else, but I recommend getting a few levels, because he hits like a frieght-train with his magic x_x- Justin Kriegel
