How do you backstab a Dragon?
While I have greatly enjoyed my time on the forums, apparently, asking questions about game and technique is frowned upon.

My apologies if I have offended any of you with my questions and for not referring to the wiki for every question.

While I may remain logged in, so as not to offend anyone, I will no longer comment, start strings or enter in to conversations unless contacted directly.

Thank you for a wonderful month or so.

Sooo.... What did I miss?
I guess it's this. I don't see why one would infer that anyone took issue or was offended by asking questions from it though.

yes that seems to be what he is talking about.

You really shouldnt let one slighty rude comment run your entire experince on this forum. Threads asking simple questions appear all the time and 99% of the time they get answerd quickly keep posting what you want man (within reason of course).

Judging from your ratings bar, most of the feedback you've received has been positive, so there can't be that many people offended or bothered by your posts. Do you walk out of a situation just because of one or two negative comments? You can't please everyone, and not everyone has to like you, there's no point in worrying over it. I get mostly positive feedback, and occasionally somebody doesn't approve of a thing I've posted, and that's just tough.

Really, if you have any questions about the game, the UESP has a lot of the answers:

How is that rude? He wants enough daedric hearts to make a set of armor, maybe weapons. Isn't that a lot? 2 here, 2 there isn't going to cut it. He needs the list of where they are at and I showed him. Too bad he knew of it and made us do his work for him.

liiiiiiitle bit sensitive. IMO, this is one of the friendliest forums I have EVER participated in. Could that one response been less terse? Sure...but, wasn't a flame or anything.

Man up!
The real world is harsh and cruel...life will be hard if you are so easily offended and even harder if you look for attention by making such posts afterwards.
I don't mean to offend you by this, but just saying it how it is in the hope you can reflect upon it and be a stronger person.

Good luck to you.

Agreed. As I've said. I have a real life with all it's harshness and cruelness. While I love my time on the forum, it si only for fun. When it starts to not be fun then I'll just go back to my real life.

Every last person that told me to just go to the wiki and stop asking questions is absolutely right. I shall do so.

Thanks for the fun while it lasted. After all, it is just a forum.

Stick around, enjoy the fun, poke fun at people, and just don't take it that seriously. Honestly, there are far more helpful posters than there are irritants. Avoid those that annoy you, and ask questions of people that are willing to help out. There is a poster on here named Psiberzerker that has helped me learn this game, taught me how to build my character, and given me some real insight as to how to play this game. There are some that will not give that kind of assistance. Those are the ones to avoid.

If you are resigned to go, go then. If not, stick around. Someone will need help, and maybe you can be the person that helps them better understand the game, and makes playing more enjoyable for that person.

Just my 2 cents. :beermug:

When life gives you lemons, click ignore on that member who irritates you. Or suck up to Dagmar, everyone on the forums is scared of her.
I'm not, but I could see how others would be. Okay, I have nitemares about being on a Skyrim Quiz Show against her and her bunnies, but I like my nitemares.

It's like a cross between Jeopardy, and Simon Says. Instead of giving your response in the form of a Question, you have to say "Dagmar Said..."

LOL, people just need to learn the Way of the Lore. It's not actually a bad skill to have. Especially in our circles here. :p

I've honed my skills in it over the months.

I'm slowly learning, she's correcting me less and less these days. :p

That or I suck so badly, she can't be bothered and doesn't know where to start.

LOL, there you go. :p It's really just a matter of making the effort to do subject/timeline searches on the lore sites and being/becoming familiar with related material. I love it because I'm an historian. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea though.

That's the thing about Dagmar, her delivery can be belligerent, but quite honestly, she knows the Lore batter than anyone I've talked to online 9Including some who work for Bethesda.) So, if you can get past the Charming personality, you can learn a lot. Take your lumps, and use her for what she's good for, the information.
