why do i get an email every time i get a reply to my thread?

Go to your account and under settings go to preferences. Fix everything to your liking.

Make sure to set it to not auto watch threads when you reply.

Beneath the section you type in there are some boxes you can untick. If you can't see these click on More Options, and the boxes say "Watch this thread", which means that you get both email notifications and Alerts on this site. If you just untick receive email notifications, you will still get alerts.

i did that and im still getting an email whenever i get a new reply.
