Champion of Grottos and Gremlins
Well, just the fee would already crush my chances of getting it if I wanted. The drill at home doesn't change: You want the game, you pay it, and my clay piggy loses some weight. Like many of you, unaffordable. Yet it isn't the part that mainly bothers me.
I like RPGs because everyone there seems to have their place in the world. NPCs farm, shop, eat, anything like real people! Can you imagine getting inside a city to see 20 players idling, looking at nothing, completely overpowered compared to you in the beginning: to me its heartbreaking! Its crucifying RPG!
Then *SNIFF* always the same problem in EVERY DAMN ONLINE GAME: there are always those spoiled brats that have a legion of pets, spells, insane armors, with a very douchy name (usually ending in 666 or 69 or even boss) who invest more money than my bedroom's furniture value in the game, that even dare to call anybody they crush a noob, as if their premium investment was halfly matching theirs.
Lets not forget about all the annoying people I find in every game. I best them, I'm always a hacker, or used a cheap shot, or accused of fake investments in the game or even called a noob for using a certain spell or ability. I lose, I'm always a noob. At home or at school or at the internet, douches are a reality (not applying to these forums so far, guys!)
And... Daedric stuff! I love having the guards comment my badass mace, or my faithful shield and sword set, but with other people, I only become the over 9000th to get there. I don't like being bested in what I like. Even in what I don't like hurts (sport)!
And, of course, hackers... I once played GTA Online. Loved it at first, but then, when I had a few humble 20 000 in my hands, a super over powered posse comes with a powerful tank, two helicopters and that awesome car that costs 10 000 000 completely bullet proof! I died as soon as I crashed against them! Money cloners everywhere. Hell, they destroy my vehicles and pay the fines with no issue, only making me waste ammo... It happens everywhere. People have the need to win, even if it has no dignity. (This is the true definition of mankind)
It pains me because, I like MMOs... Their concept is brilliant: What if we gave you a game where you could clear dungeons with your friends? That's a great dream if it comes true. (But I have no friends to play with anyway...) The only problem is that you are sharing the server with 6000000000000000000000000000 (phishing accounts included) jerks that are already stronger than you and crush you as soon as they get half a chance. Private servers would be the ideal for me. I am not much of a PVP guy. I only play League of Legends as my ideal PVP, and unless I play with the pyro Annie, I get usually mauled by everyone.
Anyway, my biggest issue, if I had any friends or any cash for TESO, would definitely be the other players...
