What is the benefit of having a key, other than the fact that getting caught picklocking is a crime.
I'd like to tell the short tale, I accidentally; ended up in a fight with a guard and his buddies. They all were much higher ranked than myself. But I was very lucky, appearing from nowhere was a Dragon. So initially I was under attack by a dragon and three guards, so I dived for cover in a small hole in the banks of the river. The dragon ended the lifes of the guards, so I eventually slayed the Dragon.
Nevertheless the dragon did kill a few people, and I stole their housekeys. I was interested in understanding what useful purpose they serve?
