Farkas (of The Companions) is a heavy armour trainer. He can become a follower once you are sufficiently far in The Companions' quest line. In fact, most of The Companions will become optional followers once you've completed this branch of questing, and many of them are also trainers (Archery, One Handed, Two Handed, Heavy Armor, Block...)
