Two Questions (Beware: Boring Thread)

I have the Atronach Stone (50%) and Atronach Perk (30%), and I am a necromage-vampire (+25% magnitude), but I don't have 100% absorption. Any idea why?

How come spell absorption seems to have no affect against sparks, flames, frostbite, and dragon breath attacks?

100% anything, really, is impossible. You can get close, but not completely 100%. At least, not to my knowledge without cheating or glitches or mods.

Because 80% is the cap on all dmg reduction. 100% is not possible, even though all the numbers add up.
