Here he is! I left some things ominous to leave a strange feel to him, as well as a good plot device for later. Hope you like! His name should be in the color I would prefer, should you choose to accept him.
Name: Mordecai Burris
Sex: Male
Race: African-American
Age: Early 40’s
Birthplace: Maxon
Affiliation: Exiled Brotherhood of Steel Scribe
S.P.E.C.I.A.L:
Strength: 6
Perception: 7
Endurance: 5
Charisma: 4
Intelligence: 10
Agility: 5
Luck: 3
Appearance: Dark complected, buzzed white hair, rough beard of same coloration. Hair color is from stress, rather than age. 6’2. 200 lbs, strong build from wandering and fighting. Faded blue coloration of eyes, reason for discoloration is unknown.
Clothing: A gray duster coat, similar to one found on NCR rangers, sleeveless with black tank top underneath. Wears a pair of thick, grey pants. Sports a steel plate on his chest, as well as a pair of steel plates, all fashioned by himself, on his shoulders, wrists and knees. Finally, he wears a pair of laced combat boots that come up to the center of his calves. Wears thick rimmed black glasses, but only when reading or hacking terminals.
Weapons: Attached to his back when he travels is a battered but otherwise well-functioning gauss rifle. Custom black paint with wood brown stock. Uses this only on occasion, as he is more prone to use his own laser rifle, specced with scope and optics mods. It is usually strapped to the back of his waist, for quick retrieval.
Misc: Stimpak kit, as well as a metal flask with the strongest whiskey he can find. A rucksack with other essentials is also in his possession.
Skills: As his duties in the Maxon chapter required, he has much experience with terminals and is a very capable hacker. Being raised in the BoS also came with extensive knowledge of energy weapons and their uses. Raised as the son of a Paladin and a Knight, he was raised to be a knight, and was given all the training that came with the title. However, when they came to realize how much potential was in his mind for working on systems within the base, they kept him as a scribe. He does not have a suit of power armor, but if he came across a suit that could fit, he could operate it with no problem.
Personality: Mordecai can be seen from two angles: Sober and Drunk.
When sober, Mordecai is pained, but focused, as his well-hidden past still weighs down on him like a boulder on his shoulder. He is focused and determined, however, and will do what it takes to get things done, and done right.
A drunk Mordecai is a different story. As he drinks mostly to ease the pain his guilt brings him, he drinks a lot. This causes him to be quite friendly, but quick to anger. If pushed, he will harm anyone who gets in his way while under the influence.

Relation with known factions:
Brotherhood of Steel: [Neutral] He knows what had happened to him was not their fault, as they were only looking out for their people. He respects them still, but does not feel fond of them.
Mr. House: [Neutral] Doesn't know much about the ominous father of NEw Vegas, and isn't interested enough to learn more.
NCR and Legion: [Vilified] Reason Unknown. Ties to past and these factions are suspected.

Backstory: (AS HE WANTS YOU TO KNOW)
Mordecai was born in the chapter to a Paladin and Knight, his Father Roger, and mother Victoria respectively. As he was born to very accomplished parents, his fate as almost destined to be the next in line to the family name, in able to keep up the legend as some of the greatest soldiers in the BoS.
As he grew up, he took quickly to the teachings of warfare and weapon use. However, he also spent much of his free time with the scribes, learning everything there was to know about any terminal and power source available.
Seeing how strong he was in tech knowhow, the Scribes begged for him to be put on the Scribe track instead, and to the dismay of his parents, he was.
Feeling right at home, he worked on the important machinery and necessary things needed to keep the bunker alive.
Something occurred, at the age of 29, causing him to be exiled from the Maxon chapter, along with his wife and child. Details on the situation, as well as the years after, are known only to him, and he won’t share them with anyone.
To fight the guilt of losing his family, he drinks, and plays cards to pass the time he isn't working on projects to pass the time.
Now, he calls New Frisco home. The hole, which he frequents at least 3 days a week, knows him by name, but knows nothing about him other than he is handy to have around.
Reduced from a BoS scribe to the old mess of a man that fixes the leaky tap. What the on earth happened to him?
