Ranking them would be too difficult for me, so in no particular order:

- Halo (Bungie made. 343 ruined the franchise.)
- Civilization
- Empire Earth
- Total War
- Fallout

I can't add Elder Scrolls, as I have ever only played Skyrim.

2. Elder scrolls and Fallout are tied FO4 may change that.
3. Batman Arkham series. Dat BTAS nostalgia
4. Halo (I don't own any games anymore but I do have the Reach statue to hold onto those fond memories of when Halo wasn't crap.)
5. I don't really have a fifth.

GTA san andreas is simply the best game ever for me . also recent GTA V was perfect

2. HALO
loved them all except Reach which felt too military , and yes , i loved halo 4 and i think its amazing

3. HALF LIFE
half life 1 is still a game that i would play , it didn't lose any of its fun since 1998 , same with half life 2

4. Mass Effect
my love in sci fi continues . mass effect is probably the best Trilogy of this gen . played all three games 4 times already !

5. Bioshock
played Bioshock 1 and Bioshock infinite . very Artistic , fun gameplay and always with an incredible story , bioshock infinite's ending nearly blew my brain .

the only elder scroll that i played was skyrim , also the only MGS that i played was MGS4 so i didn't include those .

1. Mass Effect

My absolute favorite games. I love the characters and the story. It's just overall a great game series, even with the end being complete crap.

2. The Elder Scrolls

Obvious. Oblivion nearly made me fail high school. And Skyrim I joke nearly made me lose my job. Naw, I remember after school being at my best friend's house just watching each other play.

3. Dragon Age

The world building in this game is epic. The massive scope and possibilities, especially for fanfiction have me hooked. My favorite fanfiction ever, "Victory At Ostagar" is a different and very in depth take on this story.

4. Metal Gear

Metal Gear Solid for the PS1 was the game that got me into gaming and it will forever remain my favorite game ever, nostaglia factor. I played that game to death.

5. Fallout

Good series with a long history. Super fun games and VATS. Just saying. VATS.

Great creative license with how history is, and interesting that they at least research into portions of history for their games.

4. Army Men series

The shooter series that got me into the shooter series, and always had great soundtracks to it.

3. Sim City series

Fun role playing a mayor trying to build and maintain a city.

2. The Elder Scrolls

My ideal fantasy RPG type game

1. Total War (except for Rome 2)

Love the series, even the flop that was Rome 2.
