Don't mean to start an argument, but it is your choice to exploit the game. Would you have preferred not to have the option to cheat? It might have taken Bethesda (who I believe are just a handful of human beings that must have worked their asses off) another 6 months to go through the game and find all the possible ways the hardcore players could use to exploit the levelling system. If you choose to sit there crafting 100s of daggers or repeatedly selling books or whatever, instead of having fun with the quests, you have made the game boring for yourself.

If you play a little more casually and honestly, doing the things that are fun and enjoyable -instead of exploiting game quirks tp level up quikly so you can clean out, just because you can- then it is not easy at all.

I didn't even know you can do that, and it will definitely be of help to those of us who do NOT find the game easy.

I think some of the hardcore RPG fans are complaining about how Skyrim is not just like Oblivion with better graphics and more of everything.

I found all of these thing by mistake the first time a played the game and i am by no means i "hard core gamer".

I restarted the game on expert and didnt craft a single weapon or peice of armor and only used stuff i found and it was still way too easy, there is no stratgey in the combat of the game. using a bow means u never get hit and using 2 1hand weapons means things die to fast.

I would be happy with these flaws if leveling was more balanced but leveling from pick pocketing is just so stupid, its basic game design. look at all the best and most popular games and use some of there leveling/bug fixes on the game you are making.

I mean they must have tested the game b4 just releasing it and hoping it didnt have these thing in it.

Loading screens... They're a tad bit ridiculous.

That is a bug that a lot of people experience. Loading screens (after your first load) should not take more than a few seconds, unless your drive is really slow. Reseting graphics settings with Skyrim Launcher can fix it.
ALt-ctrl-del, then cancel usually gets me out of a stuck loading screen.

Likes:
01. Upgraded character creation system (more elaborate hairstyles, weight slider)
02. Faster leveling system
03. More guilds than Oblivion (inclusion of Stormcloaks, Bard's College and Imperial Legion)
04. More accessible, user-friendly combat system (it doesn't take 50+ hits to kill an enemy on normal)
05. Marriage system
06. Radiant AI/Story
07. Dragon Shouts
08. It's Elder Scrolls (what's not to love about the ES series...flaws and all)
09. Environments are believable and immersive
10. Characters are actually not (as) ugly as in previous installments (they still need to make guys look better but women are really pretty in this game)
11. Crafting and enchanting is much simpler this time around
12. No psychic guards, townspeople
13. Assassinations are much easier

Dislikes:
01. Hard to see eye colors in character creation system (really minor nitpick)
02. Redguards are nerfed (no armor bonuses, made to sound very vanilla as far as voices go)
03. Only three Temples (Mara, Dibella and Kynareth), Temples cannot be 'joined'
04. Dragon battles are ANNOYING, too random and not fun at all
05. Guilds don't seem to change or respect you (looking at you Thieves Guild...)
06. Children are done really poorly (they all look the same)
07. Voice actors and races are inconsistent (some Nords sound Scottish, others Nordic, others American...)
08. Some enemies are just way too damned cheap (Snow Sabre Cats, Dragons, Enemy Mages)
09. No unarmed skill tree
10. No marriageable Khajiit, Bosmer, male Altmer/Redguard
11. No Knight Orders
12. The freezing, glitches and bugs
13. The members of the Thieves Guild (Revyn, Vex, Dirge, Tonilia, Vekel)

The thing that I both admire and dislike is the random loot in chests and co.
For example, I once went on the Jagged Crown quest hoping to loot some Ebony weapons and I got an Orcish Sword and some Minor potions. I was just level 6, but still it annoyed me much that my best weapon had only 29 damage. However, it makes the game more interesting, instead you would always know what you would get in every chest. And besides, loot gets better by level, so I guess it's a good thing.
Another thing I dislike is how slow it runs on my PC, but that is a matter of my system, not the game itself.

Now, I LOVE a lot of things about Skyrim, but I'll mention some:
-The quests. I love how there's a lot of miscellaneous little quests you can do for rewards that aren't half bad.
-The NPCs. Aside from some annoying little #$"!*, most NPCs were pretty awesome. I like how they had conversations while I was around doing random things.
-Quest weapons, like the Sanguine Rose. Words can't decribe how helpful these things are.
-Teleporting horses. That's all I'm going to say. Horse owners will get it.

my issue with the chests, especially the locked chests, is that if there is say a master level lock on the chest, there should be some really good stuff in there, not 10 gold pieces and an iron axe.

one of my main dislikes is that the enemy AI seems all to often to be able to do inhuman feats. For example, when shooting said enemy with an arrow, they seem to sense it at the last moment and zig left or right INSTANTLY 10 feet or so.

The other thing I don't like about the AI is their near god like aim and ability to one-shot hit with arrows, swords and magic.

Even though it by choice I really dislike starting off at Master difficulty. In all of my MMO's and SKyrim type games I have always been some sort of DPS Tank. SO my first character here in Skyrim I played an Illusionist. I had a very difficult time in the beginning....and that was on the default difficulty. Got my first play through done lets build a tank! Set it to Master, grabbed a shield.....one and two shotted all day long by 2H wielding bandits swinging that fat piece of metal faster than you can dream of swinging a dagger.

The I dislike the most that is out of my control is Agro range. YOu should not have to be a silent stealth assassin to kill someone without alerting the greater Skyrim metro area of your presence. Unless there are silent alarms, CCTV security cameras and aerial patrols there is no logic behind it.

None the less I will continue to be WTF 2 shotted by a 2H wielding Bandit who seems to wail like a silent banshee to alert his friends in a undisclosed radius (the entire world map) because the game is ridiculous fun!

LOL, yeah the agro range does seem a bit huge!

even on adept level wher I've been playing the AI for enemies has that ability to one/two shot you, no matter what the weapon.

For the most part, I could almost agree with everyone's likes and dislikes, but it leaves me with one question, especially for the complainers: Is Skyrim worth your entertainment dollar value?

The answer is, yes. Even if you only play an easily enjoyable 30-60 hours, that's well worth your entertainment dollar value, but I doubt any of us have played that little. I mean, how many hours do you have logged? Either way, more than your average game which is easy and over with quick enough. That being said,

I bet those that complain have the most at over 50 to 100 hours, easy.

I bet those that love the game completely have just as many or more.

I bet the people complaining will still continue to play it, just like the people who love it.

It's funny to see all the nerd anger and dork quarks - I've seen a lot of unfair comparisons and expectations that are just way too friggin high. I mean, it took them 5 years to complete this game, and it is good, and I'm sure if they got all Axel Rose / Chinese Democracy with it, it would really be the perfect game, but in the meantime, we will have to forgive them.

No part of the game, be it combat, magic, plot or gameplay are a solid 10 out of 10, but the whole thing packaged together really is superb.

Dislikes: Any aspect of the game examined under a fine tooth microscope and stand alone is imperfect, especially when compared to other games.

Likes: As a whole, it is darn near perfect. It goes down smooth and casual, flowing well, but with enough depth to keep us hardcore RPG dorks satiated, so long as we weren't expecting the second coming of Christ. I mean, for Jebus sakes, haven't we already wasted enough of our lives playing through games where we start as a level 1 nobody, completing pointless quests, gaining the respect of our virtual citizens, exploring emotionally complex characters and crazy plots and twists in a pre-programmed world?

Point is, it's a good game :D

- No buyable house in Falkreath

I agree with this one, I wanted to buy a house in falkreath and I was disappointed when I wasn't able to. As well, the lack of quests available from falkreath was a minor let down, but aside from that, I don't have much to complain about, Skyrim is perfect to me.

now that I've completed the game I'm disappointed in the ending... you're just dropped back in Skyrim with a couple of conversations (Not going to spoil it for others) and then you're on you own.
I suppose it is meant to be that way depending on how you played, IE did the main quest line only, then it give you a chance to go back to do the rest.
Still.. So anti-climantic.

I miss the Oblivion hatred expressions on NPCs that you have fl*ffed with earlier in the game.
